This organisation supports volunteer visits to provide friendship and companionship to an older generation.

Why is this so Important?

Sometimes older people can feel alone for various reasons…

little contact with friends or relatives.
feeling isolated from their culture and heritage.
mobility issues that prevent them from taking part in social or leisure activities.

Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help this community feel less isolated.
We as Emerge Church have joined this scheme to provide volunteers that give one hour a week to give back to older generations. Our volunteers provide friendship and companionship to older people and help develop social connections.

We are always needing volunteers to love on this wonderful community, so if you feel a pull on your heart strings to give an hour a week, we would love to have you.
